Mexico, officially known as United Mexican States, is a country in North America. In terms of area, Mexico is the fifth largest country in the Americas. With a population of 111 million, Mexico is the eleventh most populous country in the world. In the north, Mexico is bordered by the United States; on the south and west, it is bordered by the Pacific Ocean; on the east by the Gulf of Mexico and on the southeast by Guatemala, Belize and the Caribbean Sea.

Mexico is a newly industrialized and developed country and most of the people fall in the upper-middle-income category. With 20+ million international visitors, Mexico is the tenth most visited country in the world.
